This House, which was created in 1920, is still relatively unknown. It is located between Tours-sur-Marne and Mareuil-sur-Aÿ, and it is fast becoming one of the leading names of the Epernay region. If 25 of its 37 hectares are in the Aube region, the vintage cuvées and/or prestige cuvées come from the Epernay terroirs of Grauves (Premier crus) and Bisseuil - Fine Champagnes which at times exalt exotic aromas. The 1er Cru – Brut – Blanc de Blancs is an undeniable success. A lovely pale gold livery whose shining brilliance is enhanced by delicate bubbles. An attractive blend of ripe fruit – cherry plums, vineyard peaches, honeysuckle – which, when aired, give way to the exotic flavour of papayas with aromas of fresh almonds. On the palate the dosage is delicate and the effervescence brings together the flavours of pineapple and grapefruit. The finish is nicely balanced. Why not enjoy it with a Basque-style chicken.
